Amy Winehouse left covered in blood after row with husband

Reports say Amy Winehouse was covered in blood after a row with husband Blake Fielder-Civil in a London hotel, while she claims he saved her life after she cut herself.

Another chapter in the competing-for-CMU-column-inches-with-Doherty Amy Winehouse saga has unfolded with reports splashed over pretty much every daily claiming that she was left covered in blood following a row with her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, in a London hotel.

Reports suggested that she was flying down the road screaming from the hotel, before she flagged down a car and jumped in. And while many have been quick to point the finger of blame at her husband, celebrity gossip website perezhilton.com claims it has the real story after receiving text messages from the star saying: "Blake is the best man in the world. We would never ever harm each other ... I was cutting myself after he found me in our room about to do drugs ... and rightly said I wasn't good enough for him. I lost it and he saved my life".

Police reports confirmed that they had investigated the incident but that no charges were brought.
