Andrew Lloyd Webber to compose UK Eurovision entry

Andrew Lloyd Webber will compose the British Eurovision entry, with a singer chosen on a talent show called Your Country Needs You hosted by Graham Norton.

As per those previously reported rumours, it's been confirmed that Andrew Lloyd Webber will be involved in this year's UK Eurovision efforts, and as it turns out, his role will be bigger even than the rumours suggested, in that Lloyd Webber will compose the British entry. A singer will then be found using a familiar talent show format, comparable to the composer's previous TV outings to find stars for his various West End shows. The programme will be called 'Your Country Needs You', will be hosted by Graham Norton, and will see judges select six finalists, who will then compete on television, with the public deciding the eventual winner.
