Antony & The Johnsons get Shakespearian

Antony & The Johnsons are to contribute to a play inspired by Shakespeare's sonnets to be staged in the UK next year. Music acts involved in the show have been asked to compose music to accompany the poetry, which will be played by an eight piece chamber orchestra from Opera North. Taking place for two nights at Stratford in February, it's all part of the RSC's Complete Works festival. A subsequent tour taking in Nottingham, Manchester, Gateshead and Leeds is planned for March.
