Jodie Harsh has been a legend on the dancefloor for years, now the rest of the world is catching up.
Across two decades of late nights and early mornings, Harsh has become a fixture of Londonās underground ā a DJ, producer and larger-than-life presence whoās long blurred the lines between club kid, tastemaker and icon. With her sculptural blonde beehive and maximalist energy, sheās helped define the sound and look of UK nightlife.
Her new single āKiss It Betterā is a euphoric, club-ready belter primed for the summer season. Co-produced with UK duo Punctual (RAYE, Chris Lake) and featuring Swedish singer/songwriter Maia Wright, it leans into classic disco flourishes, vocal yearning and festival-sized euphoria.
āItās the bastard lovechild of āMy Houseā and āGood Timeāā, she says. āI wanted to revisit my disco roots and bring back those strings for summer 25ā.
The single arrives ahead of her forthcoming debut book āYou Had To Be Thereā, due autumn this year ā a first-hand chronicle of London club culture in the 2000s, before and during the 2008 financial crash, and beyond.
