Jodie Harsh has been a legend on the dancefloor for years, now the rest of the world is catching up.
Across two decades of late nights and early mornings, Harsh has become a fixture of Londonâs underground â a DJ, producer and larger-than-life presence whoâs long blurred the lines between club kid, tastemaker and icon. With her sculptural blonde beehive and maximalist energy, sheâs helped define the sound and look of UK nightlife.
Her new single âKiss It Betterâ is a euphoric, club-ready belter primed for the summer season. Co-produced with UK duo Punctual (RAYE, Chris Lake) and featuring Swedish singer/songwriter Maia Wright, it leans into classic disco flourishes, vocal yearning and festival-sized euphoria.
âItâs the bastard lovechild of âMy Houseâ and âGood Timeââ, she says. âI wanted to revisit my disco roots and bring back those strings for summer 25â.
The single arrives ahead of her forthcoming debut book âYou Had To Be Thereâ, due autumn this year â a first-hand chronicle of London club culture in the 2000s, before and during the 2008 financial crash, and beyond.
