Art brut had a pop at Pete Doherty during their appearance at the Jersey Live Festival at the weekend. Singer Eddie Argos told the crowd "Steer clear of crack, and steer clear of Pete Doherty, he's a very bad man," adding "Oh, and steer clear of The Others too and Poptones Records."
It's an unwise move. You don't want to make an enemy of Doherty. If you're not careful, he'll not turn up on you.
