Approved: Club 8 – Late Nights

Club 8 are celebrating their 20th anniversary as a band this year, and will release their ninth studio album, ‘Pleasure’, on 20 Nov.
The first single from that record, ‘Late Nights’, continues down the route taken on their last album, ‘Above The City’, exploring retro electronic pop sounds. Far from sounding like pastiche, they imbue their music with a classic, timeless feel, and prove that after 20 years they still have great songs in them.
Last time we heard from Club 8, the duo’s Johan Angergård made us a playlist exploring the musical influences of the first fifteen years of his life. This time, here’s a collection of pictures from his and Karolina Komstedt’s first two decades working together, via Culture Collide.
