CMU Approved
Approved: Keir
By Andy Malt | Published on Monday 17 October 2016
A purveyor of rough-edged soulful songs, Keir has been gaining some attention with his debut single, ‘Probably’, in recent weeks. And rightly so – it’s a hell of an opening gambit.
Whenever someone comes in straight away with something this good, I instantly fear that they’ve put their everything into that one song and have nothing left. Thankfully, he has a whole EP of stuff like this ready to go. He has an uncommon mix of talents in singing, songwriting, presence and delivery that are worth savouring.
You can catch Keir on a brief tour of the UK later this month, closing with a sold out show at the Old Blue Last in London on 1 Nov.
