Approved: Magical Mistakes – Annihilated

After releasing an EP under his real name last autumn, Erik Luebs is back recording and releasing as Magical Mistakes again. He will release new album ‘Peaking In The Pitch Black’ through The Playground on 1 Jul, the first portion of which comes in the form of ‘Annihilated’.
Like pretty much all of his work, ‘Annihilated’ is a track that starts interesting and quickly becomes totally immersing. It’s electronic music with a hard-beating heart, and if there’s more like this on the album then we’re in for something very special indeed. The next chance to find out if that’s the case will be later this month when the first single proper, and the title track of the album, is released.
