Gavin Clark dies

Singer-songwriter Gavin Clark died on Monday this week, it has been announced via his official Facebook page.
In a statement, his management said: “Gavin Clark tragically passed away last night. Until a full statement is released, we ask the press to respect the family’s request for privacy at this time, so that they can grieve in peace”.
At the time of his death, Clark had been working with UNKLE on new material. And James Lavelle said in a statement: “It is with great sadness and shock to hear today of the tragic and unexpected passing of friend and collaborator Gavin Clark. Gavin was a beautiful man, a wonderful friend and father. A man of unimaginable talent, wit and spirituality, and had a voice like no other. One of the greatest and most unique artists I have had the pleasure to work with. He will be deeply missed”.
As previously reported, Clark was also the subject of a new documentary by director Shane Meadows released through Noisey last week.
