Katy Perry’s lorry hit by drunk driver

Katy Perry didn’t have the best weekend. Her new single, ‘Roar’, leaked, ahead of its official premiere today. Then the singer’s golden lorry, which, as previously reported, has been slowly informing America of the title of her new album and its release date, was hit by a drunk driver on Friday.
According to TMZ, no one was in the truck at the time, which was parked in a Walmart carpark in Pennsylvania, though there was some damage to the promotional vehicle. The drunk driver initially fled the scene, but returned shortly afterwards to face the consequences.
It’s not clear if the lorry is now out of action. And if it is, there’s no word on how US citizens will now find out when Perry’s new album is out.
