The Spice Girls are getting back together to celebrate their 20th anniversary. Or they’re not. One of those things.

The Sun reported last week that Emma Bunton, Geri Halliwell and Mels B and C had all agreed to head out on an international tour in 2016, though said that Victoria Beckham would sit it out.

This followed an interview with Mel B on ‘The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon’ where she said she “keeps saying” that they should get back together. Though in an interview with ‘The Today Show’ in the US, she added that while she hopes to do “something” next year, “It’s in my plan. I don’t know about anybody else’s”.

Bunton and C(hisholm) were both quick to deny any knowledge of a tour, the former saying on her Heart FM show: “If anything happens and it’s concrete, and we decide on something, I will let you know”.

Mel C tweeted: “Woke up this morning wondering whether I need to start practising my backflips?!”, to which Bunton replied: “Do I need to put my pigtails in?!”

Geri Halliwell then tweeted on Saturday: “Holidays are amazing, no matter where you are, it’s who you’re with that makes the memories”. Which I think speaks volumes. Not sure why she added a picture of herself with her husband and daughter though. Unless they’re going to be replacing Victoria Beckham. Oh, I bet that’s it.

Speaking of Beckham, while we’re gathering up tweets, she posted a photo of a battered copy of ‘The Official Spice Girls Photo Album’ last Thursday.

All of which, I think you’ll agree, is clear evidence that a deal has been done.
