Avril ex sells love letters

A former boyfriend of Avril Lavigne put her high school love letters up for auction on eBay with a $500 starting bid, which her mother criticised.

It’s hard being famous. Poor Avril Lavigne last week saw an ex-boyfriend put her love letters up for auction on eBay. The seller, who had a starting bid of $500, told potential buyers: "these are very descriptive love letters from Avril Lavigne to her first boyfriend in her high school days. Very hot stuff. The contents of these letters went on to inspire Avril to what she has become today."

Lavigne's mother, Judy, told the Sun that while she reads media coverage of her daughter she avoids eBay incase she gets upset: "We've been through a lot. People trying to cash in on the fame." Avril herself hasn’t commented on the latest Lavigne related merchandise to come up for sale on the auction site.
