Babyshambles are to launch their debut album at Manumission in Ibiza this summer. According to the Daily Star a 'source' told them ìPete sees the gig as the perfect platform to premiere Babyshambles debut album. Last year his girlfriend Kate Moss caused a riot on the island, partying at Manumission with Jade Jagger."
The appearance is part of the Barfly link up with Manumission that will see the likes of The Bravery, Kaiser Chiefs and Maximo Park appearing at the new Ibiza Rocks night. Ricky Wilson of Kaiser Chiefs spoke to Xfm about the appearance, saying "I'm looking forward to performing to new people in Ibiza who we'll hopefully convert to fans. Having the opportunity to play on the Island of Dance is an exciting concept that we welcome wholeheartedly, we don't play Dance music, but we still like to see people dancing to our music and a fresh challenge is always something we enjoy."
