Bacharach on his Dre collaborations

Burt Bacharach has confirmed reports yesterday that he is working with Dr Dre. Apparently Dre has sent the king of easy listening compositions some beats and samples for him to "develop as he sees fit". The results of such postal collaborations should appear on what is meant to be Dre's final solo album - 'Detox' – which is being billed as "a hip hop musical". Bacharach told the Sun: "He gave me these drum beats and told me to do what I like. These won't be like usual songs. These are like compositions, which is very interesting to me."
