Bandwagon launch in Ireland

Music social networking site Bandwagon has launched in Ireland, offering signed and unsigned artists a platform to sell music and build communities.

Bandwagon, the previously reported music social networking thingy, has just launched in Ireland. As previously reported, Bandwagon offers artists both signed and unsigned a platform to sell their music and build communities. The Irish service will, obviously, provide those facilities to artists in Ireland - with plans to promote Irish talent signed up to the site's existing UK audience, and vice versa presumably.

Bandwagon MD Huw Thomas told CMU: "Launching Bandwagon in Ireland will be an exciting journey. Some of the most original artists and bands have broken through in Ireland and gone onto great success. There's a deep vein of original talent here. We're hoping Bandwagon will give the next generation of artists that first opportunity to promote themselves and get noticed".
