In case you wondered how I knew that The Noisettes were rather good (back in that Babyshambles story), it's because I saw them play Bestival. Also playing Bestival, and also rather good, were Bat For Lashes - though, it should be stressed, there's a lot of musical distance between The Noisettes and Bat For Lashes. I liked both, but remember I have a very warped taste in music.
Anyway, Bat For Lashes, aka Natasha Khan and friends, have announced some extra live dates in addition to their already sold out Halloween show at London's Bush Hall. Here they are...
28 Oct: Sheffield University
30 Oct: Glee Club, Birmingham
1 Nov: Colchester Arts Centre
6 Dec: London, Scala
7 Dec: Brighton, St Georges
Meanwhile, the next Bat For Lashes single, 'Trophy', will be released on 30 Oct backed by new track 'Howl'.
