BBC's fight show returns

The BBC's celebrity boxing series The Fight will return to BBC Two later this year after negotiations with the British Boxing Board of Control.

The celebrity boxing series that saw Ricky Gervais victorious against Grant Bovey is set to return to BBC 2 later this year. The series, which had a number of future editions planned, was postponed earlier this year because the British Boxing Board felt the show gave the sport a bad name and therefore threatened to penalise any trainers who got involved. But after a series of negotiations between the BBC and the BBB the show is back on track - with a number of minor celebs and former pop stars lined up to compete.

The BBC will now be battling to get the next edition of The Fight on air before ITV launch their boxing based show - the ever exciting sounding International White Collar Boxing Association.
