Ohioan blues-rock duo The Black Keys are to work with Billy Gibbons on songs for his next ZZ Top album. According to reports, this is because the new ZZ Top album is to be produced by Rick Rubin, and he wants to get back to the band's blues rock sound (I didn't know they'd left it behind, to be honest). Black Keys man Dan Auerbach told Billboard: "Billy came to our show in Columbus, Ohio, and played us some new songs, but this will be the first time we've gotten together in a musical way".
