Bloc Party's Kele Okereke on Jack White's apathy

Bloc Party's Kele Okereke has criticised Jack White's comment that it is not his job to be critical about foreign policy, in an interview with NME.

Bloc Party's Kele Okereke aint impressed with Jack White's recent comments that he wasn't interested in his home country's foreign policy, and that his main interest was "selling more records".

Here's what he told NME: "I was amazing when Jack White said it wasn't his job to be critical about foreign policy because he was being paid to be an entertainer. I thought that was treacherous because it's complicit with the capitalist society".

So there you go. The quote's from a fuller Bloc Party interview in the latest NME, if I am not mistaken.
