Borders is reportedly considering launching its own MP3 download platform. According to Reuters, the bookseller is planning a relaunch of its website, which is currently powered by Amazon. When the Amazon deal ends later this year, Borders plan to take its online operation in house, and may launch a download platform to rival that of Amazon as part of its web revamp.
