Borrell and Doherty backstage bust-up

Pete Doherty reportedly headbutted Razorlight's Johnny Borrell in their dressing room after the Leeds Festival, with a festival spokesperson confirming an incident took place.

So did you notice the words Razorlight and Babyshambles in the Carling Weekend line up there? Well, that co-billing led to some fun at the Leeds end, with a bit of a fracas between Babyshamble Pete Doherty and Razorlight's Johnny Borrell.

According to NME.com, Doherty went to Razorlight's dressing room shortly before midnight and simply headbutted Borrell. A source said: "We've been told that Pete Doherty did in fact have a disagreement with Razorlight. Rumour is that Doherty walked into the band's dressing room last night after both bands had played and, in an unprovoked attack, headbutted Johnny Borrell. Johnny put Doherty on the floor and left the dressing room, at which point festival security escorted Doherty from the dressing room and back to his bus."

No statement has been issued by Doherty or by Razorlight, but a festival spokesperson confirmed that an incident had taken place, though did not comment on what exactly that incident was.
