Boyzone may return

Stephen Gately has told the BBC a Boyzone reunion may be in the works without Ronan Keating, after the four others had dinner and discussed future plans.

Just when you thought it was safe to go record shopping Stephen Gately goes and tells the BBC a Boyzone reunion may be in the pipeline - though Ronan Keating, who fell out with the rest of the group as his solo career took off, is not involved.

Gately told a BBC programme: "I don't know whether there will be another record - probably. I'd like there to be. Probably Ronan won't be involved, but the four of us had dinner last week and had some discussions about what we could do in the future. There's still a great interest there. There's still a huge fanbase, and we just had a re-released album out and that went straight in at number six here in the UK without doing any promotion."

Either way - don't say we didn't warn you.
