BPI MIDEM grants open to all

The BPI has removed the limit of three MIDEM grants per label in any ten-year period, so all labels can now apply for funding for this year's event.

The BPI has announced a change to the system for awarding funding to companies who want to attend MIDEM. The trade organisation makes monies available to help labels promote themselves at the annual industry fest in Cannes, but until now any one label has only been able to receive three grants in any one ten year period. However the 'slate has been wiped clean' in preparation for this year's grant giving, meaning anyone can apply oblivious of past funding. Full details and application forms will appear on http://www.bpi.co.uk very soon.
