BPI stage Back Stage event for young entrepreneurs

The BPI is staging Back Stage Pass, an event for young people as part of Enterprise Week, offering advice on getting established in the music industry.

In similar news, there's another event this week especially aimed at young music business entrepreneurs. The event, called Back Stage Pass, is being staged by the record labels and record label trade body the BPI as part of a thing called 'Enterprise Week', and aims to give young people invited from around the country advice on how to get established in the music industry.

BPI boss Geoff Taylor says this: "Through this event the BPI is encouraging young entrepreneurs to bring their energy, talent and passion into the music business. It's a unique opportunity for them to meet with people already working in music - at all levels and in a range of roles - and to talk about the industry, ask questions and make connections. Partnering with [Enterprise Week] has given us the ability to reach into new pools of talent across the UK and access young people who perhaps would not normally think about a career in our industry".
