Bravery shocked by Ash geeks

The Bravery say support band Ash skipped their set to buy Star Wars merchandise, with bassist Mark Hamilton reportedly spending £3,000 at Toys R Us.

The Bravery were apparently a bit shocked when their support band Ash made it clear they'd rather hunt down Star Wars merchandise than see the New Yorkers play their set. Having already blagged their way into a celebrity screening of the latest Star Wars instalment ëEpisode III - Revenge Of The Sith' in LA, Ash slipped off to Toys R US leaving The Bravery boys stunned by their near religious fervour. They told the BBC: "The Ash guys, they're like over the top, to the point of being actually kind of terrifying. The day that all the new 'Star Wars' toys came out he [bassist Mark Hamilton] missed us play because he took off after the show and ran to the Toys R Us. He spent about £3000, it was insane."
