A film about legendary Beatles manager Brian Epstein is in the works, and is expected to be released in 2008 to coincide with the whole Liverpool city of culture thingummy. The screenplay for the movie, entitled 'The Fifth Beatle', and written by Broadway producer Vivek Tiwary, will not feature any Beatles music but will portray Epstein's work through a series of historical scenes, hallucinations and dream sequences. On the decision to avoid the band's music in the film, Tiwary says: "That would overshadow the fact that I'm trying to tell Brian's story, not The Beatles story."
