Britney Spears' divorce from Kevin Federline finalised

Britney Spears' divorce from Kevin Federline has been finalised, with the pair reportedly sharing custody and Spears paying child and spousal support, according to TMZ.com.

It has been announced that Britney Spears' marriage to Kevin Federline/K-Fed/Fed-Ex/whatever officially ended yesterday after the courts finalised their divorce proceedings.

All of which surely demands a marriage obit. The couple famously married in tracksuits in Vegas, in a ceremony widely derided as tacky by the media, perhaps most notably for the fast food served at the wedding dinner. Then followed two years of intense coverage of their private lives, during which they had two children together, Sean Preston and Jayden James, and will be remembered for Spears' seeming fall from grace, culminating in the infamous shaving incident and the recent violence from her security team, as reported in yesterday's Daily.

Spears filed for divorce in November and according to TMZ.com, the pair have agreed a deal that will see them share custody of the children, with Spears paying Federline $15,000 a month in child support and $20,000 a month in spousal support, but that part of the deal with end in November.
