Brown plays Stone Roses best of set

Ian Brown played a full set of Stone Roses tracks for the first time since the band split in 1996, performing with a tribute band at Claremont Landscape Garden.

Ian Brown has played a full set of Stone Roses tracks for the first time since the band's acrimonious split back in 1996. According to the NME, Brown - renowned for his reluctance to perform Roses tracks at his gigs - hired a Stone Roses tribute band for his performance at the Claremont Landscape Garden National Trust park this weekend and delivered a set full of Stones Roses classics, including a few rarity songs like 'Mersey Paradise' and 'Where Angels Play'. Brown's solo tracks were saved for the encore.
