Bruce says another Cream reunion unlikely

Jack Bruce says another Cream reunion is unlikely because none of the members want it, blaming Ginger Baker for ongoing acrimony.

Cream's Jack Bruce says that another reunion of the sixties supergroup ain't likely to happen (you remember they briefly reunited in 2005) because "none of us want to do it", though he does add that that "doesn't mean it won't [ever] happen".

The big issue is the ongoing acrimony that exists between him and former bandmate Ginger Baker. He told the Scotsman: "It's all Ginger's fault. He's a terrible guy. Ask anybody, ask his ex-wife. Although, according to my wife it's as much my fault as it is his. I can be quite annoying with Ginger; he thought I should always stay the little guy he first met who was always in thrall to him. Nowadays we're happily co-existing in different continents, with Ginger in South Africa, although I was thinking of asking him to move. He's still a bit too close".

But Bruce accepts that such acrimony doesn't always stop bands reuniting if and when the right deal comes along. After all, The Police have just reformed, and Bruce observes: "The Police were worse than us. I'm a good friend of Andy Summers and he has told me some stories. The Police were much more physical than Cream ever were".
