Calvin Harris restarts work on second album

Calvin Harris says he has partially completed ten songs for his second album after the only copy of his work was lost at Heathrow.

Calvin Harris has revealed that he has partially completed ten songs for his second album. As previously reported, the producer was forced to restart work on the album after his only copy was lost amongst luggage at Heathrow Terminal Five.

Writing on his MySpace blog, Harris said: "At the moment I have about ten songs 30% finished, and six songs 60% finished (full vocals count for 40%, in case you think these percentages are embarrassingly low). It's going to be awesome, I'm very excited. Especially with the volume of boringly-produced nasty dance tracks at an all time high right now - it'll be good to come back next year with something interesting, and above all, danceable. Out of the six that will definitely make the album, four are head bangers (in a good way - head nodders sounded too tame) and two are a bit more hands-in-the-air".
