Capital FM has announced it has recruited Virgin Radio presenter and (apparently) stand up comedian Greg Burns to host its morning show from January. Burns currently presents overnights on Virgin. The move will see him rejoining former Virgin Radio chief Paul Jackson, who recently took on a management role at Capital.
Meanwhile, over at Virgin, new PD David Lloyd has announced his own new appointment. He has recruited JK & Joel, the once rising stars of music radio whose careers were somewhat sidelining when they were signed up to Radio 1 who proceeded to hand them a series of no hope slots. They will present weekend mornings for Virgin.
