Caro's live tip: The Black Ghosts

I don't honestly know that much about these guys, but earlier today I was asking myself "what band would I go and see this weekend if I weren't completely busy the whole time", and it was The Black Ghosts that came up (presumably because I've been hearing some positive things of late and want to check them out for myself). The fact is, one of my favourite live acts, The Fratellis, are also playing in London this weekend, as are people like Kaiser Chiefs and oh, I don't know, big people. But they're too big for me now. I like going to see live acts I don't know much about because it can be a lovely surprise when they turn out to be great. That's how I discovered I liked The Fratellis in fact, back in the day. Anyway, the point here is not The Fratellis, but The Black Ghosts, who are, to the best of my knowledge, playing at the Hoxton Bar & Kitchen tonight. I tried to listen to their MySpace tracks, but the music player wasn't working. All the same, I got the impression that it's dance-y, electro-ey pop.
