Chinese Democracy leaker arrested

Kevin Cogill has been arrested on suspicion of violating federal copyright laws after leaking tracks from Guns N Roses' 'Chinese Democracy' online in June.

That American guy who was investigated by the Feds for leaking tracks off the long awaited Guns N Roses album 'Chinese Democracy' on his website back in June has been arrested on suspicion of violating federal copyright laws. Which, ironically, is a reaction to the leak that you might say has a lot in common with the Chinese brand of democracy. Kevin Cogill had previously admitted to making the unreleased songs available on his website. Although he removed them quite quickly, they had already worked their way around the net. 'Chinese Democracy' is now being touted for an Autumn release. As, by a strange coincidence, is hell freezing over. Climate change and all that.
