Cobain diaries set for autumn release

Riverhead Books will publish Kurt Cobain's journals in November as a facsimile of his notebook pages, after Courtney Love gave writer Charles R Cross access to them last year.

The much talked about diaries of Kurt Cobain, that follow his youth and the Nirvana years, will be published in November. 'Kurt Cobain: The Journals' will be published by Riverhead Books. The company’s editorial director Julie Grau told reporters: "It's a replica of his notebook pages. We have excised any thought of editorial intrusion. This is pure, unadulterated, Kurt Cobain." Last year, Courtney Love gave writer Charles R Cross access to the diaries when he was researching a biography of Cobain.
