Not hugely surprising that the members of Coldplay would support Barack Obama over John McCain in the US presidential race, but I suppose it's still news that they've come out and said it on US TV. The band played a three song set on Saturday Night Live at the weekend, and the band's Chris Martin wore a white armband with Obama's name on it, and also shouted his name at the close of the performance.
