Council says no to Jamiroquai show

Jamiroquai's Finsbury Park concert on 20 July has been cancelled after Haringey Council refused to move a licence to that date, with full refunds available.

Jamiroquai’s Finsbury Park concert scheduled for 20 Jul has been cancelled after licensing problems. Promoters Mean Fiddler and ITB yesterday confirmed that Haringey Council have rejected an application from the promoters to move the date of a license already granted for September to the July date. The Council said it did not want an intrusion in the school holiday period when the park is used extensively by local families. The promoters have attempted to see if the acts set to perform could be re-assembled for September but this proved impossible due to other commitments. Full refunds are available from the point of sale.
