American country singer Mindy McCready is in intensive care following an apparent overdose. The singer was taken to a Florida hospital after being found unconscious in a hotel lobby.
McCready, who had a number one US hit single back in 1996 with 'Guys Do It All The Time', has faced charges of driving under the influence and attempting to illegally obtain prescription medicine in the last two years. She has also appeared in court recently to testify against her ex-boyfriend William McKnight, who was charged with attempting to murder her.
