Coxon's stalker cautioned

Police have cautioned Sue Ellington, a woman who stalked Graham Coxon for over a year, and issued an order preventing her from contacting him.

Unlike Katie Melua, Graham Coxon knows how to drum-up a truly exciting story for the headlines, and once again he has succeeded with the news that police have cautioned a woman who has been stalking him for over a year. The ex-Blur guitarist met his stalker, Sue Ellington, after a live show, with Ellington's stalker status starting after she unsuccessfully attempted to form a relationship with him. Over the proceeding weeks the crazed fan followed him to his London home, posted abusive messages on his website, made-up tales about his sex life and culminated her work by smashing up his farmhouse in Kent. A Police statement confirmed that she had been cautioned and an order issued that prevents her from contacting Coxon, unless she wishes to be deported.
