Possibly concerned that Foxy Brown has been getting all the media exposure of late, another US female rapper, Da Brat, was arrested last week after an incident at an Atlanta night club owned by music mogul Jermaine Dupri, whose label, So So Def, Da Brat is signed to.
Da Brat, real name Shawntae Harris, had a run in with a waitress at the club last Wednesday. As the waitress walked away from the argument Harris allegedly hit her in the face with a bottle of rum, causing a deep cut. The waitress was taken to hospital, while Harris was charged with aggravated assault and taken to DeKalb County Jail before later being released on a $50,000 bond.
