Daddy Fresh launch new online platform for new talent

Brighton company Daddy Fresh Music has launched an online platform for unsigned artists to sell digital music, with artists rated by its A&R team potentially offered digital record deals.

Staying with things a bit digital, and a company in Brighton called Daddy Fresh Music has launched a new online platform which will offer unsigned artists the opportunity to sell their music digitally. Artists particularly rated by the Daddy Fresh Music A&R team (which includes Ivor Novello winning songwriter Robbie Craig and XL Recordings founder Tim Palmer) may then be offered the chance to sign a digital record deal with the company. Daddy Fresh will also promote their website via partnerships with the likes of SUBtv, in a bid to bring an audience to those bands affiliated with the service.

The company's MD, Andy J Smith, told CMU: "We have created a very inclusive, extremely accessible online platform for music makers and music lovers. We are looking to discover the most exciting new talent to offer recording and publishing deals to, but we have also built in an option that allows anybody to utilise our chart enabled digital download store and benefit from the extensive media promotion we are instigating."
