Cult indie icon Daniel Johnston will perform a free in-store gig at Rough Trade East this Saturday. If you're a fan, you'll already know that live performances from Johnston a few and far between, so you should already be excited. But I haven't even finished yet because he will also be joined by Scout Niblett, Teenage Fanclub's Norman Blake, Sparklehorse's Mark Linkous, Yo La Tengo's James McNew, and Jad Fair of Half Japanese. It all kicks of at 11.45am and I would advise you to get their early.
