David samples Bowie

Craig David's new single 'Hot Stuff' samples David Bowie's 'Let's Dance', taken from a fourth album titled 'Trust Me' due in November, recorded partly in Havana with Martin Terefe.

UK RnB singer Craig David has announced that his new record is to embrace the eighties by sampling David Bowie's hip-swinging disco staple 'Let's Dance'. The sample will feature on new single 'Hot Stuff'. The foolishly bearded one will release his fourth album in November, set to be called 'Trust Me' (I'd rather not), and in addition to the Bowie sampling single, it is tipped to draw on a variety of Cuban influences after David recorded chunks of it in Havana with KT Tunstall producer Martin Terefe.
