Belgian band dEUS are marking their return with a download track on their website. After a five year break the band are currently embarking on a Europe wide tour, having already begun work on a new album, which may just get an Autumn release. The new track, 'If You Don't Get What You Want', went live on Friday at http://wwww.deus.be and can be downloaded for 99 cents (68p).
Commenting on the new material dEUS's Tom Barman told CMU: "Expect a straightforward and uptempo rock album. What we're after is an energetic, live sounding record, although it looks like it's going to be pretty eclectic and experimental too. We can't help it, we're just inclined that way".
dEUS will tour Europe throughout the summer, with UK dates to follow in Nov as follows:
15 Nov: Wedgewood Rooms, Portsmouth
16 Nov: Birmingham Academy 2
17 Nov: Mean Fiddler, London
18 Nov: Manchester University
