Rapper DMX arrived an hour late at Maricopa County Superior Court and pleaded not guilty to drug charges, facing a separate animal cruelty case with a hearing on 2 July.

More from the pop courts, and rapper DMX arrived an hour late at Marcicopia County Superior Court yesterday and pleaded not guilty to various drug charges. In November 2005, the rapper was jailed for 10 days after he appeared two hours late for court. However, on this occasion, he was not punished.

As previously reported, as well as the drug charges, two counts of marijuana possession and one for possession of drug paraphernalia, DMX faces charges of animal cruelty. However, he will make a separate court appearance for these. He is due back in court on 2 Jul.
