Doherty case adjourned to 23 March

Pete Doherty's seven drugs charges have been adjourned until 23 March because interview tapes and written statements were unavailable.

Pete Doherty appeared in court yesterday on those seven previously reported drugs charges, but was told that the case against him is to be adjourned, apparently because interview tapes relating to the charges were not available whilst a series of written statements were missing. He will now appear in court on 23 Mar.

Doherty was, of course, mobbed by photographers on his way in and out of court. On returning to his gold Jag, he decided to give us all something extra to write about and scrawled the words 'I love Kate 4 Eva' on the window of his car, thus proving his continued affection towards ex-girlfriend Kate Moss, who may or may not give a monkeys.
