Doherty hopes for a quickie

According to The Mirror, Pete Doherty hopes to persuade Kate Moss to marry quickly at Gretna Green, and says she has helped him quit heroin.

According to The Mirror, everyone's favourite (former) crack addict Pete Doherty is hoping to persuade model girlfriend Kate Moss to agree to a quickie wedding, saying "We're driving through Gretna Green next weekend, so who knows? I might be able to persuade her..."

The ex-Libertine also waxed lyrical about how Ms Moss has been helping him to get off drugs. Well, her and the implants in his stomach which prevent opiates from working. "Kate's been there for me. She's my rock," said Doherty, and continued: "Kate said to me 'give up heroin or we can't be together and you can't meet Lila'. It's been three months now and my implants are bio-degradable. It gets easier but the implants are only for heroin... It's not all drugs."
