Doherty opens Libertines exhibition

Pete Doherty and Libertines drummer Gary Powell appeared at the launch of a Libertines photo exhibition at the Proud Gallery in Camden on Friday.

Pete Doherty was back on stage with Libertines drummer Gary Powell on Friday night, though don't get too excited, Doherty's not back in the band. The duo were appearing at the launch of a new exhibition of Libertine photos being displayed at the Proud Gallery in Camden. The exhibition, called 'Libertines: Boys In The Band', features photos taken by NME photographer Roger Sargent and chronicles the dramatic events the band have been through over the last three years. Doherty launched the exhibition by singing a few of the bands songs - something he won't be doing at the band's upcoming live and festival dates, him still being in exile from the band until he overcomes his drug addition. That said Doherty and Powell seemed on good terms at the launch. More details on the exhibition at http://www.proud.co.uk.
