Doves on new album

Doves have posted an update on their new album on their blog, writing this: "We've done eight tracks. We will be recording another eight tracks so we still have some way to go. Again thanks for all your words of encouragement, it means a lot to us. The studio is a little farmhouse barn in Cheshire, we did some mixing in RAK studios... John Leckie has since moved on due to previous commitments... co-production-wise, we've hooked up with an amazing up and coming producer, Dan Austin". Austin was engineer on last Doves album 'Some Cities', and produced iLikeTrains album 'Terra Nova'.
