Early Jim Morrison film to be aired

The State of Florida has restored what is believed to be the earliest film of Jim Morrison, a 1960s promotional film made by Florida State University, which VH1 will air in the US.

The State of Florida has found and restored what they believe is the earliest film of the late Jim Morrison. It is an early sixties promotional film made by the Florida State University in which Morrison, then a student at FSA, plays a prospective student who is denied enrolment at the school - seemingly because society at large haven't been investing enough in higher education.

The digitally converted version of the film is being posted on the state's film archive website, and will be aired on VH1 in the US tonight.
